Question: What is the Blue Skyways Collaborative?
         
         

 

Answer:

The Blue Skyways Collaborative is a voluntary public-private partnership to improve the quality of life in the American Heartland by reducing air pollution through collaboration and innovations in transportation and diesel technologies, and fuel and energy use. 

The collaborative works to assist stakeholders in voluntarily reducing air emission through education, innovation and collaboration. It is currently comprised of 10 States representing over 52 million people, six federal agencies, two EPA Regions (6 and 7), 10 major companies, the Central States Air Resources Agencies (CenSARA), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), numerous partners, many individuals from local governments and agencies, and representatives of Canada and Mexico.
